Our Worship

What to Expect

Here at New Hope, we are committed to glorifying and honoring our Triune God in all that we do. Our church services are intentionally ordered to worship the Lord with the simplicity, reverence, and biblical faithfulness that He has prescribed in his Word. Following our reformed & baptist forefathers, we seek to bring every aspect of our worship in line with God’s will in the Bible, according to what is called the Regulative Principle of Worship. We invite all to join with us as we worship our glorious God each Lord’s Day.

When planning to join us, expect to be warmly greeted. Before the service we will have several minutes of quiet to compose our hearts to worship the Lord. The service will then commence with a call to worship from the scriptures, followed by prayer, singing of psalms and hymns, expositional preaching, and the observance of the ordinances—all according to the Word of God. We then conclude with a benediction, at which point we enjoy additional fellowship with one another.

You are warmly invited to come and join us as we Exalt His Name together!

“Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together.” Psalm 34:3

What Our Members Are Saying About Us

5/5
"Sound Biblical reformed preaching! I highly recommend this church."

Our Church Association

We are members of the Southeastern Association of Confessional Baptist Churches. They aim to promote Christ’s kingdom by offering a community where churches with similar beliefs can find mutual support, help, and advice. They also work together on local and global missions, training for ministers, and publications—resources that often exceed what one local church can provide.

We Seek to Promote Doctrinal Precision Within Both the Church and the Family.

The 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith

We hold to the 1689 Confession, the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith, an influential statement by Calvinistic Baptists, originally published anonymously in 1677 and revised with authors' names in 1689.

The Heidelberg Catechism

The Heidelberg Confession is based on the Heidelberg Catechism, an important and cherished document of the Reformed Protestant faith. Written in 1563, it presents Christian beliefs in a simple question-and-answer style.

The Baptist or Keach’s Catechism

The Baptist Catechism, or Keach's Catechism, is a 17th-century tool for teaching Christian doctrine from a Particular Baptist perspective. Compiled by William Collins, it outlines essential beliefs about God, salvation, and moral law for instruction.
